• About Me

I started out as a graphic designer, but taught myself HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and began making websites. Along the way I’ve picked up PHP, MySQL, Node.js, Objective-C, Swift, and a bunch of other things. Back in the day I created my own Content Management System to allow users to edit their own websites, but nowadays I make most of my sites in WordPress. At one point I had to set up a Linux server  from scratch on Google Compute Engine, so I know a bit about Apache configuration and creating a secure installation. (So I’m essentially insanely autodidactic.) I’m adept at taking design comps (in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or XD) and translating them into pixel-perfect websites, responsive, optimized.
